Igniting Independence! Summer program for middle schoolers – Professionally Guided by Clinical Experts (Pre-Registration)
If you’re struggling with daily battles over routines, constant frustrations, or concerns about your child’s motivation and independence, SmartSteps provides the tools to set them up for a stronger, more confident start to the school year.
SmartSteps’ provides a structured program that combines the strengths of psychology and occupational therapy to help middle schoolers build independence, manage emotions, and follow through on tasks. Most importantly, kids are having a blast as they develop needed skills! Small group sessions allow for support while also gaining autonomy.
FOR: Middle School Youth
WHEN: August 11th - August 15th, 9am - 12pm
WHERE: 110 Hopmeadow St. Weatogue, CT (Create Independence)
Application Process:
Step 1: Fill out a short form with information about your teen.
Step 2: Our team reviews the details to determine program fit.
Step 3: If it looks like a match, we’ll reach out to schedule an initial assessment call.
Step 4: If your teen qualifies, we’ll move forward with placement
No payment is required unless your teen is accepted into the program.
